Mind Over Matter

The mind is the most powerful part of the human body, and is what sets us apart from other species...

The term mind over matter means that the mind, when given the proper stimulus, can override the normal limitations of the physical body, and cause the body to perform acts that it would not normally be able to do.

A prime example is the stories of mothers who free their trapped children from underneath automobiles weighing a few tons or heavy piles of rubble that they wouldn’t normally be able to move.

Walking over hot coals in bare feet by people who are trained “fire walkers” is another example of mind over matter. There is a medical and scientific explanation for how this could be. Our bodies produce stress hormones called endorphins which act to give us super-human strength and endurance, including masking pain impulses, in times of extreme crisis.

There are also stories of Yuri Geller and others bending spoons with the sheer power of the mind. To develop the capability to perform such feats of mind over matter requires that you first train and discipline your mind to shut out any outside distractions and to totally concentrate on the objective to be accomplished.

An important aspect of mind over matter is the mastery of our fears. Fear has been described by some as an acronym for False Experience Appearing Real. Our minds are so powerful that they can actually cause our bodies to manifest sickness, as evidenced by students becoming ill shortly before taking an important exam.

Often there are stories of cancer patients or those with other terminal illnesses, who quickly succumb to their disease and die; while others, similarly afflicted, overcome their malady and defy medical science and get well. One major difference between the first group of terminally ill people and the second is the attitude and expectations of the patient.

While a fighting will doesn’t always ensure a complete recovery from a life-threatening disease, it usually prolongs the time left to the patient, when compared to those who give up upon hearing the dreaded diagnosis and prepare to die.

One popular way of training your mind to perform feats of mind over matter is through the Change Your Mind, Change Your Life Course! This features guided visualization and affirmations. You decide the goal that you wish to accomplish and write it down, setting a specific date for your goal to be achieved.

It is best not to focus on too many things at a time. You visualize yourself achieving that goal, and enjoying the fruits of your achievement. For example, if you want a new car, you see yourself at the car lot picking out the make and model of your choice. You picture yourself in your mind driving around town in your new car.

The affirmations are said out loud several times a day - you write them out and customize them to fit what your goals are. This is programming your subconscious mind to achieve what your fears and doubts will tell you is impossible.

The Importance of Having a Dream

Life is dull and boring without a dream. We are goal striving beings and we are at our happiest when we are motivated by a dream. When we have a burning desire and we decide to go after it we get excited. The pursuit of our dream rivals the actual accomplishment. It is the expectation of accomplishment that actually drives us.

A dream causes us to set goals. It causes us to make plans. After we have set our goals it is our dream that motivates us to follow the plan until we hit our goals consistently enough to obtain our dream. When times get hard during our journey we need only focus on our dream to garner enough strength to persist and drive on. It is the dream that compels us to pay the price to get what we want.

Our dream attracts like minded individuals into our lives. These associates provide support and further inspiration. It becomes a mutually beneficial partnership. When two or more people link up with the common interest of growth and improvement then a mastermind group is formed. As group they achieve markedly better results than any of one of them could have alone.

A dream drives away boredom and worry. A dream causes you to set goals. This leads to planning. Once you have a plan you then you understand which work habits need to be developed in order to hit your goals. After you set about doing that work you become consumed by it. At that point execution of your plan leaves no room for worry and boredom.

I have made a convenant with myself this year to really change my life. I was not born in a family with a silver spoon and their generation before my parants where also born out of a simple working class. A family history that was not build on any foundations that would give its families a "wealth" legacy. I chose to change that DNA around and build a life that has a generation fulfillment but most important- Mindset and Personal  fulfillment when it comes to money and sucess.  I have dedicated myself this year to build myself a lucrative Online Home Business.

It is scary and daunting to write it online for the world to see but it is a testiment to myself. That I will  not fail myself and will do what ever it takes to reach that goal. And with the guidance of friends and community of Girlondaloose.  I have taken the first step that only 3% only dare to try.  That is take the opportunity to change my mindset and habits to change my life around.

What is dream this Year? Do you dare to share it with the world?

I look forward to hearing from you. You can leave your comments below.

Working Hard

Getting up very early in the morning is discipline that I would love to possess. There is nothing that beats an early morning approach on life every single day with out the rush and panic of a hectic morning. We all strive for excellence in our lives and we show our efforts through hard work and focus. I encourage you to stay strong for you will be rewarded for you efforts. How to Focus and Never Give Up

Irrespective of whatever heights you may have achieved in the past, every day is a new day and one needs to look ahead, plan and work. Oh but please don't forget to have Joy in your path or else there is just no point of all your works. Being constantly motivated in our work is the greatest challenge. How to Stay Motivated at Work.

The top performer’s have an attitude for success : If I work smart, there are ways to accelerate the decision-making process. If I work hard, too, I’ll find more opportunities to do that than my competitors will. There’s a danger, though, in trying to work too smart, or not hard enough. You start cutting corners and start forgetting what is really important.

Working hard and working smart go hand in hand.

A man willing to work, and unable to find work, is perhaps the saddest sight that fortune's inequality exhibits under this sun.- Thomas Carlyle
Remember to reward yourself through all your effort and be strong of mind. For success is a steep hill that we must climb and sometimes a hill we climb alone. When we get to the top it is truly glorious but it does not mean it will be the end of the journey. For life is build out of lessons that we choose to take and whether you choose or not, destiny will be your own fate. Conquer Yourself because you are your own worst enemy.

It is easy getting to the top... its harder staying there.
(The greatest lesson I learnt  when it comes to competition. )

5 Steps for Happiness in your Own Llife

How can you capture happiness in your own life? It comes through your own effort. Don't bother looking for someone or something else to make you happy. It just won't happen. This is a wonderful thing, because it puts you firmly in control of your own happiness!
Some spend their entire lives searching for the person, thing, or situation that will make them happy. They don't see the happiness within their own reach - in their everyday, ordinary life.

Here are five steps you can use right now, in your own life. to capture happiness.

Step Number One:
Be thankful! That's right, by showing thankfulness and gratefulness for what you do have, you automatically become a happier person. Say "thank you" when someone does something nice for you. Remember to be grateful for those little things in your life - things you may be taking for granted right now.
Even those with the hardest lives can find something to be grateful for. Have you noticed that it's often people who have the hardest situations that are happiest? Someone who is profoundly disabled or has lost everything in life through no fault of their own often has a positive outlook on life that boggles the mind of everyone around them. It's because these people have learned to be grateful for what opportunities life has given them.
Be thankful for your home, your apartment, or even the room you're still living in at your parent's house! Be thankful for the meals you get every day, no matter how meager they are. Be thankful for the job you're able to go to, and for the money you make. Be thankful for the smiles on people's faces. By making thankfulness a habit you'll automatically lift your mood and become happier.

Step Number Two:
Notice the good things. Humans tend to dwell on the negative and just gloss over those good things in life. This step goes hand in hand with thankfulness. Pay attention to your life. Good things do happen to you, no matter how small they are. Notice these details and give thanks for them.
One good event can carry you through a week of bad ones. Just notice something good happening and hold onto it. Keep giving thanks for it. Remember how it made you feel. Know that you can create more happy times like that. You'll be surprised at just how many.

Step Number 3:
Lend others a hand. You'll find that just by focusing on someone else (for a change) you'll start to feel better about yourself. This works in two ways - first, you'll see you're not the only one with "problems" and your life is not quite as tough as you thought it was. Second, it just feels good to help other people and know you're making a difference for them.

Step Number 4:
Take time off for hobbies. Spend time out walking in nature, sewing, needlepoint, playing a sport - just find something that you enjoy doing. This can be a release for you. Make sure you pick something you truly enjoy. If it brings more stress into your life, that's not what you need. Sitting back in the bathtub reading a good book can qualify. This time to unwind, relax, and possibly express yourself will really enrich your life and help you feel happier.

Step Number 5:
Protect yourself and your thoughts. You'll find as you start to focus on the good things in life the world will try to bombard you with negative. Your family, friends, and co-workers will even try to get you "down." It's human nature to want others to feel the same we do, and as the saying goes "misery loves company." Stop reading or watching the news if it always brings you down.
If co-workers are constantly negative, just excuse yourself from the conversation and say you need to get to work. It may be harder with family, but excuse yourself from negative conversations. You may even find you need to change friend groups if everyone in your group is constantly negative - and especially if they have a "victim" mentality. The outside world will try and bombard you with negative - and you need to protect yourself.
These five steps will give you a good grounding in developing a positive attitude. You'll find yourself feeling happier and life will become an exciting opportunity for you and those you love.

6 Ways to Be Productive at Work

You spend 8 plus hours a day at your desk juggling phone calls, emails and correspondences. Yet the stack of paper on your cluttered desk keeps growing taller, you eat more meals at the office than you do at home and you are still barely meeting your deadlines. Find ways to avoid time traps and to improve existing processes to be not only more productive at work, but much less stressed.

Don't let a long and tiresome day slow you down and keep you unmotivated. You have a goal to achieve that will benefit you in the long run. 6 Ways to Saty Motivated at Work An effective goal-setting routine is a great way to keep yourself in a good attitude about finishing things. Set little goals for yourself throughout your working routine, as well as bigger goals to work toward. This will make staying productive fun, easy, and even more productive.

1. Relax
Don’t get stressed out about your work. Handle the situation maturely and positively by staying calm while getting things done. Your life is important, so don’t waste your time and enjoyment worrying about the little things. Don't sweat the small stuff.

2. Stay Focused
Stay away from the gremlins called Time-wasters. Common culprits are instant messaging, web surfing, personal phone calls and chitchat with co-workers. The minutes spent on these distractions can become hours of lost time and lost productivity. Set limits on these activities and find ways to politely end conversations.
3. Prioritize your Tasks
* What I must do now
* What I must do later
* How much time will each of these tasks take?

It’s important through this routine to stay happy and not become a workaholic, because that defeats the purpose of personal growth through productivity. Be sure to priortize your work and give yourself some downtime. However, don’t put down an important task while you’re still in the middle of it. Finish, and then relax.

4. Stay Organized
Organization and productivity go hand in hand. If you are constantly searching for items on your cluttered desk. It is time to make some room on your desk.
  • remove all supplies and gadgets that you don't use every day
  • toss out ancient history on your bulletin board
  • clean out old Post-its on your computer
  • uncover your horizontal surfaces
  • clear off credenzas, tables, the tops of bookshelves
If you’re the type of person that keeps a clean desk and living area, then chances are you’re the type of person that gets things done efficiently and effectively.

5. To Do List
Make your own working schedule. We are all different and we work differently too. Making your own work schedule will give you the power over situations and keep you on track. This is a good way to ensure that you always have something to do and don't waste any time looking for your next task. Write all your upcoming tasks on this list. At the end of the day, prepare a to-do list for the following day so that you can start working as soon as you get to the office. Keep the list handy and be sure to cross off tasks that you've finished; you'll find satisfaction in knowing that something is completed.

6. Stay Healthy and Enjoy What You are Doing
No one can be productive if they’re sick or feeling crumby, right? Keep your body healthy by keeping a good diet and healthy living. Healthy habits can not be accomplished with out a healthy attitude.  So think Positive. Recognize your weakness and strengths at work and use your best attributes to be successful and unbeatable. And for goodness sake enjoy what you do. There is no point putting in all this effort in something you despise. Love what you do and be happy. That's the point of life.

How to Overcome Jealousy

If you want to learn to overcome jealousy, you will need to come to terms with a number of things.

The first thing is that beating jealousy is not impossible. The second thing is that you probably can't do it all on your own, you will need a support system. Whether you find the support you need to overcome your jealousy from friends, or from various groups, it is something that you should seriously consider, because without it, you are likely to find it a long road.

Jealousy is like holding on to a horrible grudge. Starts off small then turns into a terrible unstoppable monster capable of doing things that out of your character. You deserve to be happy- Let is go.

Stop comparing Yourself with Others.
Why should you compare yourself to others, just because he can do thing better then you doesn’t means you’ll be able to do that yourself. You can easily end up being a miserable human if you keep your ego feeding with jealous thoughts.
Usually jealously stems into our minds if there is a sense of insecurity. You need to understand who you are and know that you are exactly who you are supposed to be. Loving yourself is the ultimate key that will free yourself from the constant hate and jealousy.

If you really want to compare, just compare you with yourself. Look at your achievements, your life, look back at things that matter to you most. If you can do this you’ll feel much better, emotionally, mentally.

Meditating away of Jealous Thoughts
If your mind is clogged with many things, it can easily bring up negative. A stable mind can think and reason about things. Meditating is the best way to make your mind let go of jealousy. Meditate on things like love, spirituality, nature; try diverting your mind from the negative thoughts. Just half an hour a day will surely help getting your head right for the day. Train your mind. Inner Peace

Try avoiding negative people. Cut-down on the influence of negative peoples. If you encounter negative people and can’t avoid them just make sure you don’t intake there thoughts. Think of negative peoples as disposable plates (throw after use)

Talk your Jealousy through with a Friend.
Confess yourself about your jealousy with a close friend or a loved one. I’m sure it will lighten your heart. But make sure your friend is no Darth Sidious.
You have become jealous! Realize it. Deal with it.

Realizing that you have become jealous probably is the best way to overcoming your jealous feelings. That a long hard looks at yourself, and scan your thoughts, feelings, attachments and see if you have really become jealous. But denial will end you up at the same door.

Jealousy can be so heavy as you drag it around it around with it all day. It will neither make the situation better nor make you any happier. Acknowledge that you are jealous. Shout, scream and talk about it if you need too. Then... get over it. You have better things to do with your life that obsess about hating someone. You deserve to be happy.

Let me know if you have encountered jealousy and how you overcame it.

And don't forget to Smile

What's the point of taking a shower, putting some clothes on even more putting make up and heels if the point is not for you to smile afterwards. What's the point of all that effort if you are going to carry a grumpy face for the rest of the day. There is no point living in this world if you are not going to smile. If you have lips, teeth and a healthy personality you can smile, toothless and all.

A true smile has the power to light up anyone’s day, even your own. Everybody has something to smile about. Why not? Just smile and you will look younger. A smile is universally understood language. A smile can say thank you. A smile can say I'm sorry. A smile can say you're happy. A smile can say that you're in a good mood and you're not about to bite someone's head off. It's an extremely valuable tool. No matter where you go, or whatever the language people of that place speak, everyone in all countries and cultures understands and responds to a smile.

I can honestly say, South African's love to smile. Its a pleasure we give ourselves because we love the company of other people and the best way to say thank you is to Smile. Smile and be merry.

  • It is contagious
  • Does wonders for the soul
  • It does what words can not do

Do you remember the happiest time in your life? What was one of the most pleasurable moments you ever experienced? If you’re thinking of that special moment right now, you're smiling a real smile. Why? That memory of that pleasurable moment is bringing it on.

Now to perfect this technique, practice doing it. Walk into the break room or a group of people you associate with and just moments prior to your meeting, create a flash of that pleasurable moment in your memory. Watch as they read your body language and comment or query you. The memories can be replayed from this morning or 30 or more years ago. Learn to do that and you will learn the art of really smiling. Learn to master the skill and you will find other things that will bring it on.

This is really quite a wonderful thing when you think of it. You will start your presentation with a pleasurable thought. You will end up with a smile that will put your audience at ease. You will release endorphins that help emotional stress which will help with performance.
Smile, Breath and go Slowly

Many people who are self-conscious about their teeth sometimes don't smile, or do a closed-lipped smile that looks really forced. If you learn to like your teeth (or at least not think about them), your smile may start to look more natural.
Learn to smile with your eyes. Often, if you smile just with your mouth, people will think it is fake. A natural smile shows in your eyes as well as your mouth.

Practice in a mirror. This sounds silly, and often while you are doing it, you will begin to laugh, which will help you see what your natural smile looks and feels like.Say an "eee" sound. Your mouth naturally forms a smile while making this sound.

And laugh at yourself. Life is not that intense and boring that you constantly keep a stiff upper lip. You will happy and less stressed about the little things in life if you just, Smile, breath and go slowly. Start enjoying with positive facial expressions that will result in positive emotions. It can only benefit you. It will benefit your health, your wealth, and because of its viral effect, even those around you. And don't forget to smile.

6 Ways to Stay Motivated at Work

I read somewhere that "Staying motivated at work is easier than you think when you know what to do." Yeah, right. Getting out of bed just to go to work is hard enough. Sometimes you love your job and you can not wait to get back to work just to finish it off. And most of the times your dreaming of a holiday where you can forget about work. But until that one day I get paid to go holiday; Here are some tips to keep you motivated.

1. Decide What You Must Achieve Today.
It is easy to get caught up with non-urgent matters that you can either ignore completely or do at a later date. All that clutter leaves you confused about what to do so you end up procrastinating. You need to ask yourself:What is of the utmost importance that I must complete today?Define that specific goal and focus solely on that until you have achieved it. Clarity is power. It allows you to operate in a peak state of concentration and will help to ensure you are at your best. You will be amazed at how much you will get done and how successful you will feel when you FOCUS.

2. Surround Yourself with Love
Surround yourself with personal items that remind you of positive things in your life. Pictures of family, friends, or pets will do the trick. When you're feeling down or stressed, take a glance at your pictures.
Get a wall or desk calendar that you find amusing. Word-a-days, comic strips, and sudoku calendars are just some of the ones you may be interested in.

3. Take a Lunch Break
When you take a lunch break, take a lunch break. What that means is, get out of the office, go outside, get some fresh air, enjoy your food, and rest. You are going to have to go back to work sooner than later, so why don’t you enjoy yourself while taking a breather.

4. Keep Career in Perspective
It is always wise to remind yourself the reason why you decided your career path. This will ignite all the passion and aspirations that you had for your job thus motivating you to continue to do your best. We forget about these goals so its best you write them on a piece of paper and leave it in your drawer for those self reflective emergencies.

5. Thinking Positive in the Workplace
Negativity is a powerful force, which can easily demotivate and depress you to the point where you only  work for the salary with no other reasons. There is nothing worse than that. Avoid negative feelings and people at work. These distractions are there to bring you down and take you nowhere in your life. Try to hang out with the happy people in you office. They are highly contagious and fun people to share ideas.  But please, don't leech off all the good vibes from one person. Find your own joy and share it with others. You should focus on all positives that can be find, however small it may be.

6. Reward Yourself
You are not getting a bonus soon so get a massage after work, do your nails, go to gym or get your friends together to grab a cold beer. What ever makes you feel better to de-stress the load. A reward is needed after a hectic day.

Simplify your life

I love short straight to the point facts and points because I like to maximum my time. Get the information I need, remember them (because their short) then try to live a life of abundance. That's my aim and I will continue to share that philosophy with you.

How to Simplify Your Life (or Anything) in 4 Easy Steps

by Scott Ellis on March 16, 2010

The process is simply (in order): Eliminate > Automate > Delegate > Execute

Step 1: Eliminate

Start getting rid of things (physical & virtual) like unnecessary bills, things you aren’t using, people you didn’t really enjoy spending time with, etc… In my case I even sold my house and moved into an apartment in the Uptown Dallas area where I was spending most of my time thereby eliminating a LOT of driving. Other things you can eliminate include email you are never going to get around to reading, subscriptions to magazines and sites you didn’t have time for… you get the idea. The main thing is to get ruthless about getting rid of anything that isn’t really necessary. This step is all about “deletion.” If you catch your self saying “I might need this when…” but haven’t used it in the last few 3 – 6 months… it’s gone! Note, it can be hard to get started throwing stuff out but once you do it can also become addictive!

Now, if something really can’t be eliminated you then…

Step 2: Automate
Automate anything you can that’s left. From paying bills to email auto-responders, auto-tweeting a blog post to filtering email, a lot of things can be set to just “happen”. You don’t have to physically “do it” every time. Using alerts are a good example of automation since the technology “watches” for something and only let’s you know if something is found based on specific criteria and action is required. For example, you get an email when there is a traffic spike on your website or your site goes down. The guideline here is that if it’s repeatable it can be automated.

Then again, there is no reason you have to respond to the alert. If it really can’t be automated and requires human intervention you can…

Step 3: Delegate It

Are you sure you can’t eliminate or automate it? If not, hand off what you can to someone else who can do it cheaper, better, faster or can do it when you can’t (like when you are sleeping or at work). In the physical world that might be cooking, cleaning or lawn-care. In the world of tech it might be things like video transcription, driving traffic to your site (which can be some what automated as well), customer support, research, etc… The point is you don’t have to do everything and with all of the crap most of us having going on you probably can’t. Take your sanity back and let someone else do the tedious stuff.
Finally, if you can’t or don’t want to hand it off to someone else you…

Step 4: Execute

That’s right, whatever is left after the first 3 steps is what you do. Ideally what remains are only the things that require your special knowledge, skills or presence (like a speaking engagement); or, that you personally just happen to really enjoy doing. This list should be pretty slim but it should also represent the few things you do that deliver the most impact to whatever it is you are streamlining and the things you most enjoy doing.

Follow the four steps in as many facets of your life as you can, work, home, business(es), blogging, whatever, and get as granular about it as you can. Even if your execution isn’t 100% perfect you’ll likely find that when you simplify your life it becomes a richer one.

At Girlondaloose I try to use my time for the more important things in my life; family, friends and exploring the world and challenging myself.

I’d love to hear your stories of simplification and what it meant to you. Leave me a comment and let me know how it’s going.

Stop waking up tired

We live hard active lives. Too much to do during the day that keeps our minds and body moving. Exercise and eating right during the day will keep us in form and if we are luck, a great 20 minute nap will do. But until that fine day where we can do it all. Let us benefit the most out of our resting time; Sleeping.

4 Simple ways from getting the rest you need.
1. Sleep in 90 minutes increments - The human sleep cycle is approximately 90 minutes long. To feel as refreshed as possible, you need to sleep through complete cycles. Waking up in the middle of a cycle will leave your body wanting more. This is why sleeping 6.5 hours is worse than sleeping 6 hours. I know that often people recommend that you should sleep 8 hours a night, but 7.5 hours will make you less tired. And you just saved a half hour each day. Isn't it great?

2. Don't eat right before falling asleep - Going to bed on a full stomach is a bad idea. It can make it much more difficult for you to fall asleep and also diminish the quality of your sleep.

3.
Go to bed at regular times - Your body gets used to a routine of sleeping and waking times. This means that if you're used to go to bed at 12 and wake up at 7, the day when you go to sleep at 2 AM your body will still think the best time to get up is 7. You've just cut your sleeping time by 2 hours, and you'll feel tired throughout the day.

4. Drink water before you go to sleep - I am not talking about eight glasses. The last thing you need is waking up 2 or 3 times the night to run to the water closet. You need water to hydrate your body before you sleep. While your cells are rebooting and rejuvenating they will have enough energy and fluids to making you feel great in the morning. Trust me, your skin and face will look better in the morning.

There are many more factors to stop being tired. But these 4 things are a great place to start your efforts to never feel tired and have a high level of energy throughout the day.

10 Reasons you are not Rich

10 Reasons You Aren't Rich

The reason why you aren't a millionaire (or on your way to becoming one) is really quite simple. You probably assume it's because you aren't earning enough money, but the truth is that for most people, whether or not you become a millionaire has very little to do with the amount of money you make. It's the way that you treat money in your daily life. Here are 10 possible reasons you aren't a millionaire:

1. You Care What Your Neighbors Think: If you're competing against them and their material possessions, you're wasting your hard-earned money on toys to impress them instead of building your wealth.

2. You Aren't Patient: Until the era of credit cards, it was difficult to spend more than you had. That is not the case today. If you have credit card debt because you couldn't wait until you had enough money to purchase something in cash, you are making others wealthy while keeping yourself in debt.

3. You Have Bad Habits: Whether it's smoking, drinking, gambling or some other bad habit, the habit is using up a lot of money that could go toward building wealth. Most people don't realize that the cost of their bad habits extends far beyond the immediate cost. Take smoking, for example: It costs a lot more than the pack of cigarettes purchased. It also negatively affects your wealth in the form of higher insurance rates and decreased value of your home.

4.
You Have No Goals: It's difficult to build wealth if you haven't taken the time to know what you want. If you haven't set wealth goals, you aren't likely to attain them. You need to do more than state, "I want to be a millionaire." You need to take the time to set saving and investing goals on a yearly basis and come up with a plan for how to achieve those goals.

5. You Haven't Prepared: Bad things happen to the best of people from time to time, and if you haven't prepared for such a thing to happen to you through insurance, any wealth that you might have built can be gone in an instant.

6. You Try to Make a Quick Buck: For the vast majority of us, wealth doesn't come instantly. You may believe that people winning the lottery are a dime a dozen, but the truth is you're far more likely to get struck by lightning than win the lottery. This desire to get rich quickly likely extends into the way you invest, with similar results.

7. You Rely on Others to Take Care of Your Money: You believe that others have more knowledge about money matters, and you rely exclusively on their judgment when deciding where you should invest your money. Unfortunately, most people want to make money themselves, and this is their primary objective when they tell you how to invest your money. Listen to other people's advice to get new ideas, but in the end you should know enough to make your own investing decisions.

8. You Invest in Things You Don't Understand: Your hear that Bob has made a lot of money doing it, and you want to get in on the gravy train. If Bob really did make money, he did so because he understood how the investment worked. Throwing in your money because someone else has made money without fully understanding how the investment works will keep you from being wealthy.

9. You're Financially Afraid: You are so scared of risk that you keep all your money in a savings account that is actually losing money when inflation is put into the equation, yet you refuse to move it to a place where higher rates of return are possible because you're afraid that you will lose money.

10. You Ignore Your Finances: You take the attitude that if you make enough, the finances will take care of themselves. If you currently have debt, it will somehow resolve itself in the future. Unfortunately, it takes planning to become wealthy. It doesn't magically happen to the vast majority of people.

In reality, it is probably not just one of the above bad habits that has kept you from becoming a millionaire, but a combination of a few of them. Take a hard look at the list, and do some reflecting. If you want to be a millionaire, it's well within your power, but you'll have to face the issues that are currently keeping you from creating that wealth before you will have a chance to call yourself one.

Inner Peace

Stress, hate, love, no love, want love, want money, want more. It never ends. The constant questioning and the constant searching for that "something" inside of us has heavily being sitting in our hearts since we where children. It is like the missing pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that we are forever searching, ever wondering where and what it could be. Questions...but never any immediate answers. Sometimes we have to switch off the voices in our heads that doubt, that hate, that fear, that question all things and fights all possibilities for change. If you life is full of stress, problems, and pain, your mind has been running the show for far too long.
By stopping the mind, you master it and essentially master your life! Even when the mind is 50% mastered, you'll see you have more clarity, freedom and inner peace in your life. You'll discover that every experience is trying to teach you something. That the ultimate lesson is how to be supremely happy, joyful, loving and free!

Often the lesson that we first need to learn, is to find inner peace. How to stay calm and clear and be present with "right now". Where we stop fighting life and start learning our lessons! The greatest lesson that we are INCREDIBLE  human beings that contain the greatest source of love, joy, and peace.

I am no master of meditation but I find it necessary to take the time to reflect on me. To be quiet inside myself so that I can have the patience and time to listen to my inner self. The part of me that knows better. It know that all my questions are not important and what is important is stop the battle of who I want to be and who I really am. That is my true ultimate quest and it seems to continue to reflect itself back at me; Girlondaloose, moving countries, making movies, questions-answers ect ect. You may be on a differnent journey of your own. Learning and developing something new inside yourself but what I am certain of is that; we all looking for Love, Peace and Happiness.

SEVEN SIMPLE STEPS TO INNER PEACE

1. Be still
Take the opportunity to be still or at least do something positive. The problem is the mind feels insecure unless it has something to occupy it. However, when we really can attain a clear mind we discover it creates a genuine sense of happiness and inner peace.

2.
Control your thoughts
It is our thoughts that determine our state of mind. If we constantly cherish negative and destructive thoughts, inner peace will always remain a far cry. At all costs, we need to avoid pursuing trains of negative thoughts. This requires practise. – We cannot attain mastery of our thoughts over night. But, at the same time we always have to remember that we are able to decide which thoughts to follow and which to reject. Never feel you are a helpless victim to your thoughts.

“If you have inner peace, nobody can force you to be a slave to the outer reality.”- Sri Chinmoy
3. Simplify your life
Modern life, places great demands on our time. We can feel that we never have enough time to fulfill all our tasks. However, we should seek to minimise these outer demands. Take time to simplify your life; there are many things that we can do without, quite often we add unnecessary responsibilities to our schedule. Do the most significant tasks, one at a time, and enjoy doing them. To experience inner peace, it is essential to avoid cluttering our life with unnecessary activities and worries.

4
. Spend time to cultivate inner peace Every day we spend more than 8 hours a day to earn money, can we not find time to spend 15 minutes to cultivate inner peace? No matter how much money we earn, it cannot bring us inner peace, but, if we spend 15 minutes on meditation and relaxation techniques inner peace can become a possibility. Meditation does not just mean sitting still for 30 minutes; in meditation we seek to experience a state of consciousness which is flooded with inner peace. To experience this inner peace we cannot allow any thought to enter into our mind. True inner peace occurs when we can transcend the world of thoughts.

“You cannot buy peace; you must know how to manufacture it within, in the stillness of your daily practises in meditation.”- Paramahansa Yogananda

5. Be immune to Flattery and CriticismIf we depend on the opinions and praise of other people, we can never have inner peace. Criticism and flattery are two sides of the same coin. They are both the judgements of others. However, we should not allow ourselves to be affected by either. When we do, we feed the ego. We should learn to have confidence in ourselves. This does not mean we will love ourselves in an egotistical way, it means we value our real self and have belief in the good qualities that are part of everyone.

6.
Be Active selflessly
Inner peace does not mean that we have to live a life of a hermit. Inner peace, can be felt amidst dynamic activity. But, this action should be done with selfless motives. When we serve others we forget our sense of self, and it is when we forget our limited self that we can have inner peace.

7.
Avoid Criticising Others
If we want inner peace, we should feel that our inner peace depends on the well being of others. If we are indifferent to the feelings of others, then it is impossible to have inner peace for ourselves. What we give out comes back. If you offer a peaceful attitude to others this is what we will see return.

Life Mantra

Read it, love it, print it, frame it, laminate it, paste it, file it, memorize it, know it, show it, share it, sing it, hum it, dance on it, pray for it, steal from it, practice it, want it, need it, hold it, cherish it, burn it, wash it, live it, be it what ever you do learn from it.

Learn how to let go

We’ve all been hurt by another person at some time or another — we were treated badly, trust was broken, hearts were hurt. And while this pain is normal, sometimes that pain lingers for too long. We relive the pain over and over, and have a hard time letting go. Letting go is the process of accepting what’s happened or happening and move on. It is never easy cause we spend our time convincing ourselves that everything is alright when we know in our loneliness what our soul whispers to our heart. We get trapped in a cycle of anger and hurt, and miss out on the beauty of life as it happens. We need to learn to let go. We need to be able to forgive, so we can move on and be happy.
“Change is never easy, you fight to hold on, and you fight to let go.” – The Wonder Years

Some areas are easy to let go of. In some other areas it is difficult but possible with the right effort. In others, it is not possible the way we are right now, but we can prepare for it. Even when it is very challenging to let go, we can prepare by letting go around the edges, not attacking the craving directly at first. Sometimes by chipping away at the outside, we can work our way to the middle, eg, paying attention to the fear of the fear, as opposed to going directly into the fear. We need to understand, study, how to let go, and also for the heart to appreciate letting go. Forgiveness can change your life. Forgiveness does not mean you erase the past, or forget what has happened. It doesn’t even mean the other person will change his/her behavior — you cannot control that. All it means is that you are letting go of the anger and pain, and moving on to a better place.

It’s not easy. But you can learn to do it. It is important to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy ways of letting go.

The 4 unhealthy ways of letting go:

1. Unnecessarily letting go of all of all your money, or sexuality making yourself suffer unnecessarily when it is the clinging of the object which is the problem, not the object.
2. Letting go out of duty, obligation, or excessive politeness.
3. Self sabotage  "I don't count", self-diminishing, self-effacing way of letting go, eg, I do not really deserve that chocolate.
4. Letting go out of hate, or fear, eg, letting go of desires.

The 4 healthy ways of letting go:

1.  Letting go of something, eg, conceit, identity, fear, clinging to chocolate . . .
2. Letting something be, ie, letting go of movement of not letting things be, of our taking agency; letting to be yourself; finding a place of stillness within our awareness;
3. Letting something in, ie, to trust, to not resist, to let in what we are holding off at bay, eg, sorrow, suffering, love; letting go of resistance
4. Letting go into something, eg diving into a pool; calm and peace
One problem with gazing too frequently into the past is that we may turn around to find the future has run out on us.” – Michael Cibenko
And always remember what ever may happen in your life you have a choice to change your situation. You always have the choice.
